A US Army veteran was detained outside the White House on Monday after setting an American flag on fire.
He said it was in protest of President Donald Trump’s executive order making flag-burning a prosecutable offense.
This comes as Washington, DC Metro police confirmed Tuesday morning that a fatal shooting had ended the streak with zero homicides in the city amid President Trump’s crime crackdown involving the deployment of the National Guard.
